About the Championship
The 2016 Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Championship starts with First Round action on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds, followed by the Semifinals and Finals at the No. 1 seed on Friday, Nov. 4and Sunday, Nov. 6. This will be the 21st GSC Championship Tournament.
No. 1 seed North Alabama won its second GSC Tournament Title, first since 2011, in thrilling fashion. The Lions outlasted No. 2 seed Lee in penalty kick action, 4-3, after neither team could notch a goal in regulation or overtime. A complete recap of last year's finals can be found. HERE.
