West Florida wins 2013 GSC Women's Soccer Title

Pensacola, Fla. – West Florida won the 2013 Women’s Gulf South Conference Title on Sunday at Brosnaham Park.
The No. 2 Christian Brothers and No. 1 West Florida women’s soccer teams took to the field to kick off Championship Sunday.
Alex Pickrell started the scoring when she netted an attempt in the 35
th minute and Kaitlyn Culotta added to the lead in the 42
nd minute to push the score to, 2-0, in the first half.
In the second half, Shelby Bush added another score for UWF in the 73
rd minute, while Emily Vogler seemingly put the game away with her score in the 77
th minute.
For West Florida, the win marks its second-consecutive GSC Championship, having done it in 2012, and it also owns a new GSC record for consecutive-games without a loss, with 30.
