ROME, Ga. - The Chargers led at the end of each day of the GSC Men's Track and Field Championship and earned the coast to coast conference championship, finishing with 262 points.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Shorter's Jonathan Ross ran a mark of 13.85 in the 110m hurdles. That was the fastest mark in conference meet history, the fastest mark in the league this season, the third fastest time in Division II, and an NCAA Automatic Qualifying Mark.
- Lee's Justin Brooks' 47.09 in the 400m in a new conference meet record and ties the season record of Shorter's DeAngelo Harris, who finished second in the event. 
- Shorter's Lester Miller's 10.28 in the 100m dash is the second fastest time in the country this season and a new conference meet record. UAH's Kwantreyl McConico ran a 10.31 in the 100m dash, an NCAA Automatic Qualifying Mark.
- McConico's mark of 20.85 in the 200m was the best time in the GSC this season.
- Shorter's Wake Roberds set a new meet record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 52.29.
- Shorter's 4x400m relay squad set a new meet record with a time of 3:10.47. That team had a time of 3:07.99 earlier this season.
- UAH's Zach Hancock set a new best mark in the GSC for 2017 with a toss of 50.87 in the discus, surpassing his own top mark.
