KEY MOMENTS
After VSU cut the UAH lead to just a single point, UAH was able to make six straight free throws to close out the game. Without the Chargers missing a free throw, the Blazers’ comeback attempt was thwarted.
NOTABLE
- Valdosta State built up a 12-point lead halfway through the first half, but UAH was able to catch up to the Blazers and take a halftime lead largely because of a 9-0 run between 6:15 and 4:15 left in the half.
- UAH’s First Team All-GSC performer Seab Webster was key, scoring 18 points and grabbing seven boards in the first half. He continued his hot streak in the second half, finishing the game with 35 points and 11 boards. He shot over 50% from the floor and was named the tournament’s most outstanding player.
- UAH's third conference title ties them with Montevallo for all time league titles.
