NOTABLE
-West Florida is the 14th GSC program in the last 16 years to advance to the NCAA Semifinals, and the 15th program to accomplish the feat in the last 18 years.
-The Argonauts made history as the first DII program to reach the NCAA Football Championship in just its second year of existence, so this improbable march to the final four continues to add to an already unmatched legacy.
-Since 2000, the PSAC and the GSC have met three times in the playoffs. The GSC owns a 3-0 record in those contests. Delta State defeated Bloomsburg in the championship game in 2000, Valdosta State defeated West Chester in the semifinals in 2004, and Valdosta State defeated California (Pa.) in the semfinals in 2007.
-The GSC has 11 football national titles, while the PSAC is still looking for its first.
-IUP is making its seventh apperance in the NCAA Semifinals. The Crimson Hawks are 2-4 in those contests and 0-2 in the championship game.
-This is the fifth straight road game of the Argonauts, winning the previous four. IUP is currently riding an 18-game home winning streak.
-The winner of this game will face the winner of the Texas A&M Commerce/Harding matchup in the title game. TAMC/HU is slated to begin at 2:30 p.m. CT. The game can be seen on ESPN3 and streamed on the ESPN app. The live stats can be found
