Institutional Statement
"Melanie Carter is arguably one of the best all-around players to play softball in the GSC. She was the total package. A versatile infielder/catcher who hit for both average and power.  During her four years, she was one of the most feared hitters in DII and excelled regionally and nationally.  She led our team to three GSC Championships and one Runner Up.  Melanie graduated from UAH with honors in Biology."
