Full Release on All-Super Region Two Team

PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Gulf South Conference had 23 players named selected to the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (D2CCA) All-Super Region 2 Team. The GSC’s 23 players composed nearly half of the selection, as the other two conference and the independent schools in the region filled out the remaining 27 slots.

Of the 25 first team players, more than half of them are from the GSC, including Super Region 2 Player of the Year Jacob Tucker. Tucker led North Alabama to an undefeated record in Division II play and a regional title for the first time since 2008. The senior was named the GSC Offensive Player of the Year and is one of nine finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy.

Tucker is one of nine all-region selections for the Lions, leading all schools.

Delta State and Florida Tech each had three honorees, while Mississippi College, Valdosta State, West Alabama, and West Florida all had two players named all-region.
