BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama Huntsville overcame overtime to advance to the 2015 VisitSpaceCoast.Com GSC Tournament Final at the Pete Hanna Center by defeating Union 77-75.

KEY MOMENT
With 13 ties and 16 lead changes in the game, UAH prevailed with a go-ahead 3-point basket by Taylor Chapman and strong defense to keep Union scoreless for the final 2:36 of the overtime period.
 
QUOTABLE
"We have been in some great ones in the conference tournament," Alabama Huntsville Head Coach Lennie Acuff said. "That one has to be right at the top of the list. Hats off to Union. They are a tremendous squad. Give them a lot of credit. They have a bunch of kids that score the ball. Coach Niven does a great job with that team. I can't say enough about our guys. That's the capsule of our season, everyone stepping up when they need to."

NOTABLE
UAH will advance to its fourth finals appearance. Of their its previous appearances, UAH has won one GSC Tournament Championship.
The last GSC Tournament overtime game was in the 2008 Quarterfinals where Valdosta State defeated Ouachita Baptist 81-79.
