Vargas-Vila earns his second accolade of the season and is UWF’s fourth consecutive Pitcher of the Week. The senior turned in a near-perfect performance in the final contest of a three-game set versus Arkansas Tech, guiding the Argonauts to a 5-0 shutout. The Jacksonville, FL native notched his fourth win of the season after taking a perfect game into the ninth inning. He collected the complete-game triumph, fanning five batters and allowing just one hit and one walk.

EAST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK

North Alabama catcher Dale Ricketts (SR, 6-4, 210, Lara, Australia).

WEST DIVISION PITCHER OF THE WEEK

Harding starting pitcher Logan Holthaus (SO, 6-1, 200, Winona, MO).

Holthaus earns his first-ever honor after turning in a dominate performance in a 4-0 shutout of College of the Ozarks (MO). The sophomore went the distance for the Bisons, hurling nine scoreless innings along with six strikeouts and three hits allowed. The Winona, MO native retired 12 straight batters between the second and fifth frames and needed only 96 pitches to finish the game. He tossed the first nine-inning complete game for HU since 2007.
